{Just...Nothing}

Mr. Jonas has been busy trying to get three teeth :( It's awful...for all of us! Jonas is generally a very Happy Boy...but getting teeth brings out the worst in him. Needless to say we've lived on Tylenol, Motrin, Yogurt, and Ice Cream.

You know Jonas doesn't feel well when he will sit to watch TV. That never happens. He's always pacing in front of it, or running from the couch to the TV. Back and Forth...Back and Forth. And he's all wrapped up because he's cold...because he's not running around.

So to help him feel better...we went to the ZOO!! He loves the Zoo...or loves being outside rather. We had a good day, and Jonas had a great time!

This is the Lion/Tiger lookout. Just the perfect size for Jonas.

He was SOOOO happy to see the Pandas. He LOVES Panda Bears. We watch Kung Fu Panda all the time!

He would have stayed to play with this Panda ALL DAY! (Its not real...but you push the button and it makes sounds. He loved that!) It was a very fun day until Jonas got sick on the Metro on the way home. Let's just say he gets motion-sick. The stop and go of the metro combined with our heat and humidity got to him. I felt so bad, but was able to get him cleaned up. Thankfully it was on the way home!

Jonas has been doing well with his teachers the past few weeks. He is getting better about turning his head when you say his name-unless the TV is on...then don't even try! He has started to mimic and say a few words: BUB-BUB = Bubbles...Go=Go...and he has getting really good at signing more...that is if you hold up the right snack. We're happy with the progress he's making and keep working with him every day.

Jonas LOVES his blanket(s). Loves them! He especially loves to have them rolled up like a sleeping bag. He just carries them around all wrapped up.

He almost fell asleep on the couch like this the other day. One thing about him getting teeth is he has slept A LOT! Sometimes he would sleep until almost 9 in the morning and then take a 3 or 4 hour nap. I really missed him on those days though...it was too quiet around here!
(P.S. The three teeth are still not through. They come and go. I hate them.)

Don't worry though...our stick collecting is coming along great. No shortage of sticks in this yard. Since he's not always steady...he has a number of scratches on his hands from where he trips and falls with sticks in his hands-making sores. It's so sad...but he will NOT let those sticks go!

{Spending Time}

We had a great time in Utah/Idaho. I want to be back there right now, in fact. That's how much we miss you all :) (but please have warmer weather)
We haven't been very busy since we got back...just learning a few new things like...

PuSHiNG BuTToNS
Jonas is obsessed with buttons. He can spot them from miles away...and he HAS to push them.

On the plane...

...or at the bounce house. (in his defense...this one DID say to push it...)

Today we went to try the bouncy slides and houses with our friends. It was fun. Eventually.

We started like this. He was so scared. He's always scared of something the first time we try it. I had to get in with him. That was a sight...

Then we made it to this. He would crawl around trying to find me when I ran away from him :)

But in the end...he liked it....but he never loved it! He held on tight to the side and would not let me out of his sight for anything. Guess we will have to go back.

We've also been exploring outside, and collecting sticks....Oh the sticks we've seen...

Sometimes we pick up trash too. Like this day we found 100 sticks, 1 red peanut can lid, and 1 blue bendy straw. It was a good day.

It's hilarious to watch him try and pick up EVERY stick he sees. If he can't get it in his chubby little hand, he drops them all and starts over again. It's cute. But our walks around the neighborhood sure to take a long time now!

I've been spending a bit more time in the kitchen these days. I came home from our trip to an early Mother's Day/Birthday gift (Which I accidentally found out about before we got home). Its a lot of fun and makes baking so much easier.

I woke up on Mother's Day to find flowers and a card from the two cutest boys I know. It was a very nice day complete with hamburgers on the BBQ...my favorite.
